What’s your Background?

I am a Greek realist artist based in Athens.

I was born in Athens and studied economics in Athens.

When I finished my studies I started to work in a bank as a clerk and  felt the need to start creating art due to the stress that I had from my work.

I started then to attend some art lessons but a year later I stopped them because lack of time.

I decided then to start working at home when I had free time doing a lot of practice.I am more of self taught artist. I developed my art skills alone and reached in a high artistic level, professional.

After that ,I started to participate in art contests and my art quickly  started to become famous.

I have done Exhibitions in England ,USA,Canada and recently in Japan.

My art has been published a lot of times in art magazines all over the world and has won many awards in France, USA, Canada, Spain and other countries.

What does it mean to you to win the Collectors Art Prize?

It is a very important prize for every artist and sure it is mean a lot to me to win this prize because this will help me to connect with more audiences all over the world so that more people become familiar with me and my art.

What do you think is the role of  the art in the world today?

Role of the art  in the world today is not correct.

Art today is without meaning ,without something to say, without wake up consciousness and feelings.

It shouldn’t be fast ,easy and only to please the eye.

It shouldn’t be a fast consumer good.

Art should be more qualitative and pass clear messages about the world we live.

Art should be to wake up consciousness and leave one clear and true mark as art.

What would it be if you could change one thing about the art world?

If I could charge one thing about the art world this would be the way that people see the art today .

I am a realist artist and I always create qualitative art and try through my art to show people the beauty the world has to offer , to wake up feelings and give people hope for  a more peaceful world.

What are your most significant professional achievements?

I think that my most professional achievements are :

First when I won the year 2019 in one very difficult International art contest  at the TALP Art Competition and done my first Exhibition abroad in Nottingham,England and second when I won the year 2022 in USA  at the ATIMS TOP 60 MASTERS AWARDS one award as artist and saw the June some days before the Ceremony my face and my paintings on a billboard at the Times Square in New York.

What do you wish to tell viewers about your work that might not come out explicitly? What do you hope to inspire with your artwork?

I am  an artist who want to make people to see the world with different eyes and make them through my art to feel things that they have forgotten or they never have feel and think, things that haven’t connection with the today world where everything is fast, easy ,crazy  without meaning  just for the impressions. One fast consumer world I can say so what I want to inspire with my artwork is exactly this :

To wake up memories that people have forgotten from one world that don’t exist any more or their never have felt and change the art world.

What advice would you give to the upcoming generation of artists?

Be authentic ,be yourself  and love what you are doing instead of trying to figure out what the world will respond well to. Get more education and knowledge as an artist to become better and more professional to whatever you do.

Be open in new things and things that will change the way that the people see the art.

Be innovator and bring fresh ideas that will change the art world.

In what direction would you like to see your career go in the next five years?

I want to give priority to my art to create more qualitative art. I want to be innovator with fresh ideas that will change the art world in this direction I will work the next five years!!!I want also to have more opportunities for Exhibitions in Greece,England ,France and Spain to connect with more audiences  and learn more about my art and me .
