Carol Wates

Carol Wates

Inspired by David Hockney’s work, I do all my pictures on the iPad using the Brushes App. I prefer to work “En Plein Air” because I love being immersed in nature. I try to adapt as quickly as possible to changing light, reflections, shadows, and atmosphere. This is quite a challenge. I love it when it comes together successfully.

Carol Wates is a British Artist who creates iPad pictures using the Brushes App. Carol trained at Chelsea University of Art, subsequently worked as a visualiser in a London Advertising Agency. Exhibited in Germany, France, and Switzerland.
