Christophe Szpajdel, born in Belgium on the 29th of September 1970 to Polish parents, is an internationally acclaimed artist who has dedicated his life to the intricate arts of calligraphy, typography, lettering, and logo design. Over a remarkable 35-year journey, he has etched his name into the world of extreme metal, crafting iconic logos for bands like Emperor, Enthroned, Impiety, and Moonspell, among others. In recent years, his creativity has soared, with his 2016 design of Rihanna’s logo becoming a symbol that bridges the realms of popular culture and the powerful visuals of death metal, inspiring a broader appreciation for such artistic expression.
