Formally trained in Fine Art Sculpture at Gray’s School of Art, her creative path has always explored the unseen — the forgotten, the submerged, the quietly powerful. Her studies at the Athens School of Fine Art and North Karelia Polytechnic in Finland deepened her connection to cultural histories and organic forms, while her work as a Master Scuba Diver introduced her to the vast, layered poetry of the underwater world.

Claire’s art philosophy is rooted in the belief that materials carry memory. Whether casting sculptural works from discarded shoes to speak of migration and exile, or photographing shipwrecks transformed into sanctuaries of marine life, her practice honours the silent resilience of place and people. Her lens, both literal and metaphorical, seeks what lies beneath — the thresholds between time and tide, beauty and loss.
