Aug 16 Wendy Cohen

Wendy pushes boundaries with her creati e style as she is drawn to the expressive qualities of abstraction reshaping the indeterminate presence into futuristic shapes, defined by colours, lines and textured forms. She is also inspired by natural and urban surroundings to communicate her style in a painterly abstracted language pulsating with colour and sense of energy and fluidity. She aims to communicate her artistic poetry and harmonious rhythm to the paintbrush, creating playful imagery with an emotive sensibility.

Wendy Cohen is a Sydney-based artist who holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts degrees. She exhibits her work at the NYC Art Expo, Art San Diego, Art Spectrum Miami, Art Santa Fe and The Other Art Fair in Sydney. She has participated in group shows in New York, Los Angeles, Houston, Sydney, Melbourne, Rome, Barcelona and Madrid. She has also been published by World Wide Art Books, Arttour International and Contemporary Art Curator Magazine.
