Agnieszka Widerska
Biography
Agnieszka Widerska is an independent creator of abstract art of Polish origin. She lives permanently in Bradford, Great Britain, and was born in 1991. She graduated in humanities in Poland and works professionally as a factory worker.
She has been creating art since 2017. In her art, she is inspired by artists such as Paul Klee, Karel Appel, André Masson, Pablo Picasso, Pierre Alechinsky, and Jean Dubuffet. During seven years of gaining experience, she has created her own original artistic style, closest to abstraction.
She publishes her artworks in Artist CloseUp Magazine and Inspirational Art Magazine. She has also been publishing her works for years on platforms including Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram. In addition, she writes regularly on a blog about her art and personal life.
She is inspired to create by everyday life, both current and past, human problems and behavior, as well as important events from the world and her own life, music, and animals. She presents these subjects through original abstract narratives.
Her goal in creating art is to encourage positive changes in human behavior and negative traits, and to inspire people to become happier and more joyful. She creates art primarily to appeal to people as something unique. Making a fortune from her paintings is not her top priority. More important, she believes, is that someone sees the work and remembers her name in connection with it.
She enjoys using color and black-and-white shades, creating primarily on paper in small, medium, and large sizes, and sometimes on canvas. She most often works with pastels, colored and black markers, as well as watercolors and oil paints. She has also created several works using acrylic paints.
She has not yet sold her works, but she believes this may change in the future. She participated in exhibitions of her work titled Colours, Art By Women, and Autumn at the Open Gallery in Halifax, United Kingdom, in 2026.
She was honored with the Premier Artist Prize 2026. She has also been featured in articles about her and her art on the websites of Artist CloseUp Contemporary Art Magazine, AATONAU.com, and Fine Arts News.
In 2027, her work will be on display at the International Contemporary Art Cannes Biennale in France.
