Christophe Szpajdel
Biography
Christophe Szpajdel, of Polish origin but born in Belgium on 29 September 1970, is an internationally acclaimed artist specialising in calligraphy, typography, lettering, and logo design.
His name became known through logos created for extreme metal bands such as Emperor, Enthroned, Impiety, and Moonspell, to mention a few, during an uninterrupted career spanning 35 years.
Over the last few years, his horizons have expanded, and Rihanna’s logo, completed in 2016, is the design that the general public has come to associate with death metal logos, mainly because it is frequently seen as an example of such graphics.
