The artistic work environment that accompanied Ramón Rivas since his childhood was the best stimulus and the best university to soak up knowledge and to be able to practice in a natural way what he was assimilating. Luckily for him, this environment impregnated with art, he had it very close, since in his family and throughout several generations, his grandfather, his parents and siblings, developed works in the world of painting; oil, acrylic, industrial painting, making works on; murals, canvas, fabric, manual lettering and advertising on vehicles and panels. Also, he participated since he was about eight years old, in his father's company that repaired and built vehicles, -and the most unusual-, they manufactured without machines the damaged elements of foreign vehicles of which it was not possible to acquire these spare parts. This work was similar to making sculptures and works of goldsmithing. All this information and the practices he carried out allowed him to store in his brain this type of experiences that were decisive for the development of his imagination and creativity.

Subsequently, the multidisciplinary influence of his professional activities; in sports, music, engineering, inventions and art, both in Castilla-La Mancha and Madrid, was decisive for the creation, within the art world, of a very personal and different style, which he called Rivismo, based on the application of Experiential Brushstrokes and which is registered in the Intellectual Property. Since 2005 he has been carrying out a continuous research work, reinforcing the Concepts and Philosophy that predominate in this Rivismo and that have given prominence to material elements to which he has assigned aspects, functions and values of the human being. In such a way that in his works appear the concepts: “The Strong and the Weak”, “Reassignment of Roles between material and organic elements”, “Experiential Empathy”, among others.
