Klaus Biliczky
Klaus Biliczky's artistic work focuses on abstract painting and sculptural objects. His main sources of inspiration are the diverse aspects of human existence and the complex structure of our world and natural environment, as well as the ways we interact with and are shaped by them.
His artistic output encompasses a wide range of approaches, from experimental, process-based pieces to those that take a more conceptual stance.
By addressing the beauty and destruction of our planet and the fragility of our existence, he aims to raise awareness of the preciousness of life and to inspire people to discover their own stories in the colors and shapes of his works.
The versatile German artist Klaus Biliczky was born in Dinkelsbühl. He lives and works in Neuendettelsau, Bavaria.
He studied graphic design and advertising graphics, worked as a graphic designer and manager in the packaging industry, and was self-employed in the real estate sector. Artistic work had been part of his professional life since youth, before he devoted himself full-time to creating art and became a freelance artist.
In the beginning, he created pen-and-ink drawings in the style of Surrealism and Fantastic Realism. Later, he turned entirely to abstraction. Large-format acrylic paintings, oxidative painting, and sculptural objects define his mature body of work. His artworks, regularly exhibited nationally and internationally, have received multiple awards and publications.
